Novice (ages 4-8)

In 1999, the addition of the instruction for dancers aged 4-8 made Cheremosh technique available to all ages. An early start in dance training gives children valuable skills and builds their confidence. Throughout the dance season, children learn basic ballet and character barre, as well as simple Ukrainian dances. The Novice groups are a welcoming and positive means to introduce children to the art of Ukrainian dance. With a low student to teacher ratio, these classes bring tremendous value.

Rehearsal Attire expectations:
Girls: Hair should be tied back in a ponytail or bun. Black bodysuit, tights and red ballet slippers.
Boys: Black shorts, plain white t-shirt, white socks and black ballet slippers.
