Cheremosh School of Dance

The Cheremosh School of Dance has provided youth and children with the highest calibre of Ukrainian dance instruction since 1976. Our Novice groups give dancers as young as 4 years a strong foundation in Ukrainian dance technique where they focus on the fundamentals in a respectful and professional setting. Chumak I, Chumak II, and Cheremshyna are performing ensembles that give dancers many opportunities to experience the excitement of being on-stage while sharing their talents with a variety of audiences.

The Cheremosh School of Dance is committed to engaging youth of all backgrounds in the culture and art of authentic Ukrainian Dance. We want to promote an active and healthy lifestyle while fostering a love of dance and Ukrainian culture. Our School gives dancers the essentials to pursue dancing with the Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company or simply to experience dance recreationally. The balance of fitness, art, and culture is irresistible!

First Cheremosh Summer Camp a Success 8 months ago


The Cheremosh School of Dance held it’s first ever Summer Day Camp from July 12 – 21, 2014 for dancers aged 9 to 11. Parents commented that “This was an excellent 1st run at the camps”.
The campers had a great time and made lots of new friends. They improved┬átheir Ukrainian dance skills with instructors from the Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company. They also participated in various other educational activities such as crafts and music lessons. Read more…
