This year’s event is sponsored by Stawnichy’s Meat Processing and 790 CFCW. The line up of entertainment is unbelievable and your ticket price of $55.00 will also include a “sit down” supper prepared by Stawnichy’s Meat Processing. TheChychul Family Orchestra will entertain you during the cocktail hour with their high spirited acoustical selections from the past which will certainly bring many fond memories to all of you. Supper will than be served and the Chychul Family Orchestra will return to team up Vincent Rees from Cobblestone Freeway Adventure Tours and hopefully, Andriy Nahachewsky from the Kule Center for Ukrainian and Canadian Folklore for a Tanets House. Together we will learn a good dance from these fine instructors with live accompaniment from the Chychul Orchestra.
The world renowned Cheremosh Dance Company will take to the floor for a breath taking performance that will have all of you at the edge of your seats! You don’t want to miss this act!
At around 9:00pm, one of Canada’s hottest Ukrainian Dance Bands will begin to pound back the polkas with all of you until 1:00am. I am pleased to have Millenia as our feature band for the Vesna Zabava & Cabaret.
There are 3 locations for tickets: CFCW’s head office at West Edmonton Mall (780-468-3939), Uncle Ed’s Restaurant (780-471-1010) and if you reside in the Mundare area, head down to Stawnichy’s Meat Processing as they too will have tickets. I wouldn’t wait long on this great event as we sold out last year at 1000 guests. There are only 600 tickets for the second annual, so please pick your tickets up well in advance.
